#2 Late, seen, unmasked
My journey through Autism, Creativity and Visibility

Book Sam Grierson to speak at your event or conference and inspire your audience with stories of diagnosis, identity, masking and creativity,
Diagnosed as autistic and ADHD as an adult in 2018, Sam Grierson began searching for stories that reflected her experience of late diagnosis, identity and masking. She found almost none.
In this personal and thought provoking talk,
Sam shares how discovering she was autistic reshaped her understanding of herself and led her to create award winning films and audio dramas exploring neurodivergent lives.
Through storytelling, humour and honesty, she explores the power of creativity to make the invisible visible and why representation matters.
This is a talk about late discovery, identity and the courage to tell the stories that were missing when you needed them most.

Topics covered:
• Late diagnosis and the experience of masking
• The absence of autistic representation, particularly for women
• Creativity as a way to understand identity
• Making invisible experiences visible through story
• Neurodivergence, midlife and the overlooked connection with menopause
