The Pause Powerhouse is a bold, arts led movement using film, conversation and lived experience to make menopause visible in the places it has too often been ignored.
Born from the award winning short film The Pause, we bring dark humour, honesty and humanity into workplaces and communities, creating spaces where people can speak openly, feel understood and move from silence to strength. Menopause is not a side conversation. It is a leadership, culture and wellbeing issue and it is time to treat it that way.
Our Story
The Pause Powerhouse was created by a collective of Midlands based female entrepreneurs, coaches and business owners who came together with a shared purpose: to ensure women are visible, heard and properly supported during midlife. Each of us brings professional expertise and lived experience.
We have managed teams, built businesses, led in boardrooms and are navigating menopause. We know what it feels like to be accomplished and still question yourself at 3am. Together, we are choosing not to manage this quietly but to shape something stronger, braver and more honest for the women coming next.
